The valve covers leak, the paint is faded and it is kind of dirty, but it runs strong!

I tried to do this last night, FTE was acting up.
Looks pretty good for 400,000+ miles! Is the 400,000 in addition to the 200,000 it previously had on it?

Wish I knew what parts and such the PO used to rebuild that motor. I'll eventually rebuild my truck's 302, and I'm gonna build it to last.

It looks like a hundred. Different users have more rep power than others. Depends on number of posts, years on site, moderator...etc.
My last rep gave me 13 points, a few before only gave 3 to 6. It is kind of weird.

Yea it does look like only 100K...hit it with some Engine Brite and paint the valve covers, and it'd look like new!

I'll be so glad when I can get that carb rebuilt so I can get my truck back on the road again...maybe it'll have a bit more giddyup then...

I am fairly new to FTE and this is the first time to read September Chat Thread. Is this basicly an open "anything can be discussed" forum? It reads to be humorous and somewhat educational... I mean that in a good way. I have read all the pages and have enjoyed it.
