V10 having 2 more cylinders to grip should win in this competition.

Fifth wheel towing F350 dually gas 14,600lbs.
Fifth wheel towing F350 dually Diesel 20,300 lbs.
That is the 6.2... The V10 can still tow 33,000 lbs.

I still may get a chance to pull against a v10 one of these days, maybe then this thing would be put to bed; I doubt it though

I dont believe your account. I'd believe you had troubles but come on now. 3 engines failing with in 18k. Dude nobody is ever going to buy that. The odds of just 1 failing that fast is off the chart. 3? why dont you just quit with the fairy tales? On top of this story you claim to have other problems that didnt require a new engine. Please......

I think what a couple of things need to be taken into account from P-Nuts story.

1. P-Nut blew up three motors.

2. Never Let P-Nut drive your truck.

LOL !!!

I also find it hard to believe that 3 motors all died in that time frame.

I'd say thats impossible unless you intentionally try to kill them lol.

Doesn't look like V10 exist for the year. No more plugs fishing
The 6.2 offers 385 HP. What is your V10 rated?

Its still in the F450-750.

The 6.2 is every bit as (un)likly to blow a plug as the 3V V10 and has 16 of them.

My V10s? One is rated at 265 and the PSD made 215 that year.
The other is at 310 ( the PSD made 250 that year) .

If you mean weight ratings, I would have to look. All I care about is staying under my GVWR. If I can hitch up to something and not be over I will pull it. Sometimes I do go over though.. Its not something I set out to do, but sometimes I will load up just to find that I'm way heaveir than I thought I would be.

I don't at all deny your case.... but if the 6.0L was as bad as you say, how do you acount for the thousands on thousands that are 100% OK?

3 motors in that time means it was some prize winning moron working on it! There is just no other way to explain it.

All I take is you blew up 3 motors...

had you blown up 3 V-10's then bought a Diesel you would be Screaming the same story but telling Bill how full of B.S. he is...
