No, you won't run circles around them, I'll even allow to say you might beat by a little at high speed, but you aren't going to beat by much. (if they are truly stock to stock)
Your right, saying I will " run circles around them " is not being completely truthful.
So whats the diference between the 05-10 and say an 03 v10 ?
Added power and the TorqueShift tranny. BIG difference. I do have a $300 DiabloSport programmer, intake and exhaust, that's it. I run my programmer at the "middle" tow/perfomance 91 octane setting. I have never had it on a dyno but plan to in the near future. It has 91,150 miles on it with never a hickup. It tows my 10k 30' Airstream easily. Of all the Ford pickups I have owned, '83 6.9, '97 7.3, '02 7.3, it is the best truck of them all, in every way, power, especially dependability, low maintenance and never fails.

I will still pull harder though.
If your talking same yrs 00-03 6.8 & 7.3 no you will not. Yall will pull very close to the same. Its going to come down to human input that's going to make the split.
Who ever said 6.0s are easy to beat towing with v10 hasn't tried it. If yall watched the videos of the hill runs the 6.0 does just as well as the 6.4. I'm thinking the 6.0 had the faster accelaration starting out just a a couple mph difference. These are things I see everyday in the fields and on the hills. I'm not bosting and saying I'll run off and leave you. I'm saying I'll count coupe on you. And do it all day long. I garentee you I'll do it hauling a heavier load. Another advantage to a psd is a 1000 lbs here and there doesn't make much differences. I always haul more. I hate reps. I perfur high weigh low reps.

I owned a 6.0L (in my sig) and it couldn't pull my TT more than a couple of times without an engine change. Two engines went into the truck in a 37k mile time and when ford bought it back it required another engine for a total of three engines in 37K miles.
and when *that* fails could be used for any part on any vehicle. so when your rods on your v-10 fail at any boost because the engine was was not built to be boosted your left with a huge paper weight.
Want one of my old "paper weight" 6.0L blocks? They are (or were) at Tucson Ford, there is three of them total and have under 18k each on them. Not a tune installed ever.
This is about 2011 models, so not directly related to original dispute, but would that make you wonder how diesels really compare to gassers in Ford engineer mind....
Fifth wheel towing F350 dually gas 14,600lbs.
Fifth wheel towing F350 dually Diesel 20,300 lbs.

Tell ya what P-nut any time. I educate you on the ability of the 6.0. until then do your homework and go watch some video of the 6.0 pulling.
I dont believe your account. I'd believe you had troubles but come on now. 3 engines failing with in 18k. Dude nobody is ever going to buy that. The odds of just 1 failing that fast is off the chart. 3? why dont you just quit with the fairy tales? On top of this story you claim to have other problems that didnt require a new engine. Please......
