How wide are your wheels? How much lift you got? I'm still having a hard time deciding on what to do about lift and tires. Thanks

The wheels themselves are a 9'' rim. No lift at all, just leveled. I was rubbing on the driver inside fender, but then I just zip-tied it back some. I have to hit some really good bumps at full turn to hit now. I would love to have a 4'' lift, but the truck sits too high for getting tools in and out all day as is, so it will stay right where it is.

You bet Mark. There's a guy in town that does granite counter tops. He's running 44'' tires and like 8+++ inches of lift. I dont get it. Cant see how he does it.

How are you feeling these days Mark? better everyday I hope man?

Cooked up some marshmellos. We took a few pics, my fire pit is 36X18 round well casing that we buried in the ground.

I also had a long conversation with Dan today and I have to say that he is quite the gentleman and I really appreciated our conversation and the time that he took to talk to me today.
Glad to help, Jim.
I'll remember you on Tuesday.

I asked her to move it for me, and she says, "I wish I could, it doesnt run." hmmmm...my gears start turning while I'm building her deck.... "Why not?" "no idea, it hasnt run for at least 4 years, since dad passed on." hmmm.... now they are really getting turning... "well, what are going to do with it?" sell it for scrap she tells me... NO NO NO NO I said...Keep in mind it's in perfect condition. Dad bought it brand new, and it only has 120k on it...This car looks great, and I would think would fetch a few thousand to someone around here. Well, after chatting with her a lot the last few days, as well as I trip to my house to meet my dog kelly, (she's a dog lover) she tells me if I haul it off within 24hrs, it's mine for $500. SOLD!!!!!! I rented a flat deck trailer, went and got it this morning, and towed it to my shop. Checked all the fluids, changed the oil, coolant, t-stat, checked the tires and brakes, fuses, and battery. (thats the short list) drained out all the old diesel, which looked really good still, and filled her up with fresh fuel. Okay, here goes..... turn the key and Vroom!!!! click click click...just like it should sound. Perfect, smooth, actually glass smooth idle!!!! I was so stoked, couldnt believe it could be so easy. I took it for a 45 minute drive tonight, and it just purred. Very cool car. Now, here's the best part. My brother is in need of a car badly, and I couldnt think of a better gift than to give it to him for what I paid. He is in seventh heaven right now, he's so excited. So, I had a great day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's the pics- I hate the color, but who cares for $500. Sorry they arent better, my brother was very excited and could care less about the pics...LMAO!!!!
What a great find!!!
.
I very highly recommend that you make sure the timing belt tensioner bearing is in good shape after sitting for 4 years. If it siezes up, the belt burns up and then it goes out of time.
When that happens, the pistons come up and ram the valves hard enough to break the cam bearings right out of the cylinder head. I've seen it many times. Instant boat anchor.
.
Have fun shopping Lisa.
.
My next post, unfortunately must be a sad one.

The parents of this young couple with a 3 year old and a 9 month old child were involved in this accident.
The father is a pilot in the Air Force.
The pilots parents are members of the church that I attend. I've served next to Mr. Coffey in many church functions.
I went over to thier house yesterday and they are flying down to Florida today.

Haha damn my dog was no where to be found, so we called and called here, and she came to the house, smelling like skunk! I have a pic I will upload in a bit, but she was dirty from rolling around trying to get the smell off, then sandi hosed her down, and got most of the smell away, then Lily went and rolled around in the dirt while she was wet!

On edit: Dan Im sorry to hear that man, death sucks, specially when someone was taken when they are way to young. And to think it was all caused by another driver that didnt stick around, pathetic.

It's been good. Staying pretty busy today. Got the grocery shopping done and made up a big batch of Texas Caviar that is in the fridge chilling for later. Right now, I am watching my Grandson for a little bit while my daughter is at the store. As soon as she comes back I'm gonna go and wash Jezebel.
