Sorry about your friends bad news Dan. That sounds really lame, just not sure what to say. So sad and senseless.

It's "sort" of a salsa. Much better though. Right now, the problem I am having is that I cannot keep everyone out of it. There won't be any left for later if they won't stay out of the fridge.

Dan, that's terrible. It's a shame to have someone taken like that in the prime of their life. Thoughts and prayers to the family and you.

On edit: Dan Im sorry to hear that man, death sucks, specially when someone was taken when they are way to young. And to think it was all caused by another driver that didnt stick around, pathetic.
My next door neighbor had the same thing happen to his Beagle. But, before he could catch him, he ran into the house and started rubbing and rolling on every piece of furniture, carpet, and then the bed. It's bad enough trying to get it off the dog, but in the house...

Anyways, it's 88 here and sunny now and I'm loving it! Been out in the yard working with the dogs some:

Thanks Scott. They're fantastic watch dogs. The female is the larger one and she's about a year and a half old now and 65 pounds. The male is 5 months old and he weighs right at 60 pounds now. They're siblings from different litters - same parents.

The female is about the same size as her mom, maybe just an inch or so taller. The male is going to be a monster. His dad is 105 pounds and pretty tall for a Shepherd. This one has his five month weight and height beat by about 10 pounds and 2 inches respectively. In their paperwork, I've got copies of articles going back several years. Their grandfather was a Westminster champion.

Back from the CT/MA joint chapter meetings.

That was pretty fun even though I had to leave early due to drivers ed crap.

We went to the Golden Age of Trucking museum and everyone but me and dad went back to another guy's house for food.

It was funny. Everyone there except one guy had a diesel so you could tell when someone was about to get there.

Very cool. I would love to get a Shepherd like that some day. My dog is a Chocolate Lab/Rottweiler mix. She's 8 years old and weights in at about 70#s or so. Great watch dog and she loves kids. Her name is Dallas.
