Part VI
Trash to the dump and then take the sideboards off of the trailer and get a pallet load of cedar fencing to replace the rotting fence around the back yard.
It cost $1000.00 just for the wood, but we had a contractor take a look at it and he quoted us $10,000.00 to do the job.
Uhhhh, no thanks.
I'll be doing this one myself. One hour per night after work few boards at a time and it will be done by June, easy.
My neighbor wants all the old fencing for kindling, so I don't even have to haul it away.
My big mistake is that I didn't treat the wood back when it was first put in and it rotted right away in this wet Seattle climate.

It has a big band of lichens growing along the bottom, too.
Now it's going to get an annual treatment of water seal.

Organization problem...in order to be organized, you need space. I need another bedroom closet. Or I can kick Randy out of his half and tell him he's on his own.
Yep exactly. When I am in the mood to wear something I like to have it there.
Clothing fetish? Sure. Shoes? Not as much. I really don't have many shoes. 1 pair work boots. 1 pair hunting boots. 1 pair hiking boots...and maybe 10 pairs nice boots/heels/sandals.
You sure about that? Take a picture of her closet. lol
So here was my day:
Get up and head out the door. Get down to the shop and fill the loader with fuel so it will be good for the day. Head to Giant Oak for a needle valve to go in a Tecumseh engine. Had to get the whole carb rebuild kit which was just as well. Put the new needle valve in and got the snow blower fired up. Woohoo! So once that's done I put the it away and get out the rototiller. I get the rototiller fired up and I'm laying down my own smoke screen. After a while the smoke clears up so that's ready for its job in the afternoon. Then I see dad parking one of the trucks, but I can't see the body. I walk down and see the truck and the dump box isn't on it anymore.
I walk down to where I know he was dumping loads. Preston (dad's full-time employee) is catching the hyd. fluid in 5 gallon buckets as it's running out of the dump cylinder. So we use the dozer to collapse the cylinder so it won't get bent. Then when we've got that about as far along as we can get it I go and start mowing the grass because it was getting long. Tom (part-time employee) shows up in his 02 F350 V10 wanting to know if we're gonna need his help Monday. I tell him he'll have to find out where dad went off to to find out, but before he goes I harass him about having a V10 instead of a 7.3 like I do constantly. So then I finish mowing everything so after that dad and I load up the rototiller to go rototill mom's garden. I spent the rest of my afternoon rototilling and getting a bad sunburn. I am a true redneck right now. The garden is 60x30 and it was terrible rototilling because the garden is mom's and her friend's and it's at her friend's house. The daughter's horse died over the winter and they buried it below where the garden is. So the dirt was very compacted where the excavator tracks were. Tracks can give up to like a 98% compaction rating. Fortunately their daughter is smokin hot and she was hanging around outside today.
So then mom says "Oh yea I said we would go bowling with the Henry kids" (The kids I babysit for. There's 4 of them) So we left here at 5:30 and went for pizza then went bowling and dropped them off at home and it's now quarter of 10 as I finally get around to posting this.Holy crap that's a lot of stuff. I'm tired.
Edit: Hey, Jim. How's it going?
