At the time I had a Specialized HardRock with a Judy fork added on and Eggbeater pedals. HEAVY.

If I get back in to Xterra I'll get a crosscountry bike; currently I have a Freeride style bike that is good, but still pretty heavy for racing. Good for training though!!

Yes, but then he'd have to invest in some suitable headstuds...I hear headgaskets on those 6.0 bikes can be a b*tch...
