it was a crash truck, also called an attenuator truck..
it was parked in an island on one of the jobs at 5:55am when i went past it to get a stack of traffic cones with the pickup.
when i came back at 6:10 it was gone.
it should be easy enough to find though. fire engine red F650, with blue/yellow lettering on the doors, an arrow board on the flatbed, and a big yellow cushion behind it.
i have faith in the state troopers looking for it that they will find it in one piece.

the troopers caught the guy driving it west on rt 78 going into pennsy.

i heard about the f650s awhile back as well... i loved em from the minute i heard about them... they supposedly can pull a 52ft trailer behind them just like the semis can.. way the article was written they said ford developed the truck with farmers in mind to pull those trailers around with...

Wow, he made it a good 30 miles before they got him. My guess is he need some wheels to get somewhere, what better place than a highway worksite.
