it was my nephew Shawn, and he walked away from it without a scratch.
that kid has an angel watching over him. 3 times hit in the drivers door, and 3 times walking away from it.
i don't like foreign cars, but i will tell you one thing, he has gotten 3 very strong Honda's.
the first one almost tore the drivers door off after getting hit from the rear of the door.
the second time in an acura integra, the car folded in half after getting hit in the driver side door at 50 mph. he had a bruise on his left knee.
and this time, it did not even break the glass. the door still works, but the "B" pillar and quarter panel were pushed in almost 11 inches.
opps my bad i read son.. brain interperated what i read and what it comprehended wrong.... sorry...
glad hes ok though... hes definately lucky thats for sure... ive known others that have gotten t-boned like that - that had many more injurys than hes gotten...
id say that things definately totaled if the pillers have gotten pushed in... surprised the door still works with it being pushed in that far...
it twisted real funky. the pillar edge is 6 inches in and back from where it should be, but the striker hoop stayed put. the lower pillar is in around 11 inches, and rolled the rocker.
the quarted skin is touching the interior panels, but from inside the car, you can't see any damage.
the insurance adjusted already said they are gonna probably total it. but he needs wheels, and they are beefing about supplying a rental car. either way, i am buying it back and fixing it.
Good morning!
I cant find the picture right now, but my buddy has a target like that Lisa! Says something like "you are now well within range" or something like that...
I'm great this morning! Well, nearly afternoon for me, now.. but anyway! I have to take the pups for a walk, then fertilize the lawn, and then be a geek and work on my Exchange 2007 server so I can handle all my own email.... yes, yes, I know you're all jealous and green with envy... or... not.
