I had both done when I was a kid. But I had my right eye done in July. I had to keep it dialated for about 2 weeks with some drops the eye doc gave me. Talk about driving a guy bonkers. I couldn't see shyte to do my job, cars down the road looked fuzzy until they got closer, and the drops left a bad taste in my mouth from leaking through my tear ducts.

Sure, rub it in Steve, high of 45(if we're lucky) and cloudy today. Actually, that's the forcast for the next 7 days, with some rain/snow showers thrown in for fun.

i do as little as possible.

actually, i am now working for a construction company. we do all phases of heavy construction. bridge replacements, new bridges, site reconstruction, but our specialty is roadway reconstruction.

and yes, i own my own company, TJC Transportation Services.
i did heavy equipment escort, snow removal and light trucking, till the bottom dropped out of the trucking market, when sold most of the trucks.

i now keep 4 trucks for snow plowing, and once in a while i will do an escort.

back in the 80's and early 90's, i was getting $75/hr per escort vehicle.
now it is hard to get $25/hr.
i am making more than that driving for someone else, and have no overhead.
the hardest part was letting my employees go. i has 12 people working for me in 94 when the bottom fell out of the market, and most of them were with me for over 12 years.

(cleans blocks, bores, checks heads for cracks ect ect... ) specialty theres head work... but hes been hit hard too... started out with the economy falling.. got worse with the C4C crap... hes barely making enough to scrape by now because of it... he also owns his own buisness..

yuck. It's terrible no doubt. Why for two weeks? You get Lasik or something? Mine was just for a routine check up, for some reason that's how they do it...I think it was for the glaucoma test they do, but I really don't know. The eye doc was kinda a jerk...No, I take that back, he was an ***.

Good morning to you! Yeah we are in the 50's for our high and raining. Actually today looks to be clear in about an hour. I have some painting to do on my house, but we'll see. I still cant find motivation to work on my place since I built it. Just got burned out I think. I still like the work, just not on my house....
