Everything is welded on, not removable. The main support piece is welded directly to the hitch. I got the mudflaps as a gift, actually, from my brother. He picked them up at an International truck dealership.

So to install, I started by welding 2 1/2" 1/8" thick 36" long steel pieces on either side of the hitch:

Thank you for the pic's. seeing them gives me a good understanding on how I need to install mine.

well y'all i just bought this truck http://madison.craigslist.org/cto/1425900907.html, it needs some work but the price was right. it starts and runs a bit off of wd 40 so there is an issue with the fuel system on my truck ive heard its either the harness or the pump.

LOL, hey, little girls in groups can be pretty scary actually.

Yeah the hollowpoints for two reasons: 1) like you mentioned, less of a danger of hitting one of our neighbors and 2) they cause more tissue damage.

Also it has been shown that hollow point bullets have increased accuracy...

That's flak? Dang, man I ain't even thought up anything good yet.

And Ray the most high tech thing in my shop before this weekend was an impact wrench. Most complicated electronic device was the radio. But I did pick up an AE from Clay so that is now the most complicated piece of equipment in there that we own.

We're not really that fancy.
