Jay, I'm sure you've stuck to your sheets before...

Well an interesting evening so far. As I sit, I am pretty much surrounded by tornadoes. Just a warning for my county, for now, but there is a line of them just West of me,.. heading east, and...well I'm east! An edge of one of the big cells just hit the edge of Cedar Rapids. Just kinda sitting here waiting for the tornado sirens to go off. It's eerie and calm outside, of course.

Blue Ray player, that's a pretty cool present Mark.

Nice job on painting the underside, Pete. I've been wanting to do that lately.

Happy belated father's day everybody.

Maybe....

Sounds like you may be pooping blocks soon. Keep your head down if those sirens go off.

Thanks. Not belated its still Fathers Day for a few hours.

Oh, and nothing wrong at all with the tool box fix. Functional. Thats all that counts if you ask me. Nice job Lisa

Hey, Jay. You're not getting your paws on those Recon smoked cab lights.

I installed them on my truck this afternoon before I painted my rust and they look pretty sweet. And if anyone needs a set of stock amber lenses let me know. I have a set someone can have for free.

Haha All good Pete. I was pretty sure you would be putting them on. Thanks for thinking of me though. Maybe if I make Riffraff East those lenses will disappear?

Good evening everyone and Happy Father's Day to all the dad's out there.

We got back from camping this afternoon, but not without incident........of course

Our camper got rear ended on the way home, no major damage but it did crinkle the sheet metal and bust a tail light out. A truck was making a left turn onto a road and the one of the two drivers behind him wasn't paying attention and slammed on the brakes to avoid a collision. Well, my following distance went from 6 car lengths to none in a hurry(55mph zone) It was all I could do to avoid hitting the car in front of me, then I feel a light tap and look in the mirror in time to see parts flying and another vehicle going by on the left. The guy wasn't paying attention(his words) and just clipped the LR corner of the pop up. Funny thing is, it did quite a bit of damage to his Jeep Liberty: dented fender, popped the fender flare off, ripped the inner fender liner out and cracked the front bumper cover. I'll be in contact with his insurance co. tomorrow and try to find somewhere to repair the camper.
Oh well, it could have been much worse.

Stay safe with all those storms Lisa, send some of that storm action this way(minus the tornados though) I love thunderstorms.

The tool box fix looks like it will work just fine. As long as it is functional and you like it, that's all that matters. Looks good, BTW.

Sounds like a good second prize to me Mark, enjoy.

It does suck Jay, especially if it can't be repaired to look good. I was hoping to sell this camper to help finance a larger on next year. Oh well, could have been worse, he could have hit us straight on. Damned MN drivers J/K Jay

Camping was fun, we all had a good time. The river was a little high though, and very swift moving. It made for a fast ride tubing.

Campground was pretty nice, not very organized though. You just pull in where ever there is room. Though they do have electric and water hook ups scattered about.

Well, if it had been the truck, I'd get a new bed out of it, which I need anyway. OK, don't need the whole bed, just the right side(rust has set in).

I guess pigs can fly, I'll be damned. Hopefully everyone is OK.
