I agree if the world treated people like the majority of people on FTE do life would be so much easier
agreed.... FTE is one of the ONLY car/truck clubs ive enjoyed going to meets for... and not made to feel like an outsider... every time ive gone to my other car club meets ive felt like the proverbial 5th wheel..

When we went to OR and TN this year getting to meet people was great. There were no awkward moments that are usually associated with first meetings. It was unbeleivably great.

I'm still trying to con a bunch of you to come up here and help me lift my engine. I'll cook, provide beer... just doesn't seem to be appealing.
I agree. completely. FTE has made me feel the most welcome and hasn't given me shyte for being a woman and not acting like one.... LMAO
not only that its not an engine debate either.... you dont have people actually fighting over which engines better than the other... yes i know theres gasser vs diesel.. but yall dont fight over it like the muscle car guys do with the v6 vs v8 debates... nor do ya make one another feel like theyre unwanted just cuz they dont have that particular engine either...

Absolutely. I never fit in the other sites cuz I was the only one with an old truck. No one wanted to talk old truck... just diesel and duallies and lifts etc.

yeah my other sites were pretty much, "less you have a v8 your car sucks" type of people...
i dont even have a ford truck.. so it really surprised me how accepting FTE guys/gals were when i met them... first meet i took my chebby truck too... partly cuz it was a "truck meet"... and other reason was is cuz we were meeting at a place i knew i was gonna be coming home smelling like an ashtray and didnt want my stang to smell like one too... stuff lingers forever in the upholstery...
You never asked me that only to help with the wiring
I'll take help with anything. No one has helped me so far.
