Blah, i didnt get cleared to go back to work for at least another 2 months, most likely around 3-4 months. Seems like my previous job is the high end of the heavy work, and they try to make it so your healed really well before ya go back. Makes sense, less chance to reinjure.
I make good money from workers comp, get to work out 3-4 hours a day 3-4 times a week, but its getting really boring!
Watch for my post count to shoot up even more.
Wow, well, better safe than sorry. You only get one body.
I'd love the workin out part...maybe you can volunteer for something you really like, something not physically intensive so you won't hurt yourself.

I keep telling myself I only have one body too, but it still sucks! i would rather be out there slinging cement or diggin ratholes then sitting in the house!
The working out part is cool. Youd be surprised at how strong you can get if ya pump iron that much in a day.
Some of the stuff I have to do for my knee looks kinda gay, more like dancing then working out, but sure works!

Do you hit the gym at all?
I now have this mental image of you doing pirouettes. Thanks for that.
Few years back I was at the gym every day, ended up falling off the wagon when stuff was goin' bad for my dad. I was to the point to where I was running 3-5 miles without breaking a sweat and getting faster. I was mixing in some weight training too. I remember one night I was on the eliptical for 80 minutes! it felt good and I had more energy than I knew what to do with...and I was starting to look damn good and seeing definition in places I never have before.
Haven't gotten back on that wagon yet, but its one of my main goals once I get myself moved. I've always been somewhat of an athletic person and strong to boot, but I haven't always been real good at keeping myself physically motivated.
I saw that. Its about time they done it and got it over with. To fat..WTF!
Congrats on the house deal Lisa. In my line of work you run across a boss like that more often than not. The last place I worked, the production manager was a little short, tubby guy, bald. He was prolly 5'2", around 200. When he got real mad his bald head would turn red. It was funny. When I toldem I was leaving the only time that man would even look at me was is if he was b****n at me for something. I did get the how much is it going to take to get you to stay speech. Best move I have ever made!
