glad to hear that all is ok with you the family and the truck. Hitches provide a first layer of defence with rear ends. My only question is, whats the crumple zones in the frame look like and what can it take. Somebody was telling me that the 2000-2003's have really weak crumple zones.
I would think that the hitch would be able to take a beating, and the frame around it. These things are designed to haul 10,000 lbs or more and after time those crumple zones would start to crumple even if thery werent in a accident. I dont even think these trucks have crumple zones IMO just from the way they trucks designed to be so strong.

His background picture shows him standing next to a turbocharger that has to be at least 3 FEET TALL. His foot is resting on the CAC outlet and it is probably 12 inches in diameter!!!
