My favorite was VIR - I ran a trackday there the 2nd year they were open and it just suited me... great times & great times!!!
Yeah, I agree with you 100%. Been riding for 26years with half them on sportbikes. I was always faster on my 600s at the track.
I've never been to VIR, but my personal favorite that I have been to is Barber. It's one continuous flow of track, almost like every corner is linked to the previous one. There's not much time for resting there, but it's very smooth in the same respect.
I wasn't aware you had been riding for so long. That's pretty cool. Squids suck.
Lisa, the transition from dirt to street really isn't that hard. Some of the quickest motorcycle racers in the world grew up racing on the dirt, so you might just have an advantage.
I thought you guys and gals would get a kick out of this. Awhile back, I brought my truck in for a complimentary oil change, and since I neded to work that day I rented the only available truck, this one. I loaded up about 150 2''x2''x3' deck pickets, (about 200lbs) and within about 2 hours the rear end starting screaching and grinding. Keep in mind this truck had less than 500 miles on it, so brand new. Really long story short, they called me after inspection and said that I must have overloaded the axle, as it was damaged severely. Dont worry, I never paid them for any of that, or the rental once I got done with the manager. Thought you would enjoy the pic. The lower pic is off the back deck of a customer of mine, thought it was a cool picture in the morning.
Sheldon- It looked awesome being towed away. It had to be towed like 45 miles, so lots of people got to see it.
The lower picture is what most of my area looks like, and we have seen a couple of bears go through in the daytime. Still trying to catch a picture of that. We have cougars and such but their pretty elusive. Usually when you think there is a cougar around I'm busy going for the Glock, not the camera. Their really sneaky, and there has been problems with them in the past.

Leaving church for brunch (hey, we were lined up side by side at a red light that feeds open interstate, you would've done it!) I was racing my wife in her Excursion and my son took photos...

Getting down below 40 here in the mornings. Going to have to store the bike for the winter in a month or so.
Its been hitting 75-80 here the past 4-5 days, I cant get enough of it. I am looking for a good riding jacket rigght now though for when it starts getting colder.
