Merry Monday evening Washington, Tim, Ken, Steve, Wayne, 30Ken and all the crew. Long day today on the road, but back home and relaxing.
It was a nice day and what little rain we encountered was late afternoon, 78° was the high, nice breeze and some sun.
Cool old truck you had there, Tim. Since we're risking utter embarrassment by showcasing our younger selves, I'll match you. Here's me at 17, heading off to graduation practice with my 50 F1 I got at 15, after installing a 289, C4 automatic and 9" rear to drive for my senior year. If nothing else it's proof that once upon a time I really did have hair. Good times.
Cool old truck.
Are you a NCW native?
That looks like it could be a CA license plate on the other car.
I grew up in Northern California in a little town called Westwood near Mt Lassen, about 100 miles West of Reno, NV.

Nice melon you have their Tim!! Make me want one.
I wish it wasn't so hard to grow them here in my part of WV! My grandfather tried all his gardening life and had little success. Maybe half a dozen in 25 years I know about. The most success I know anyone in the family ever had been a volunteer that came up beside our house one year. Our well to do neighbors had a picknick area with a large brick grill. it wasn't but 10 or 15 feet from the end of our house. I am guessing the one cookout we had watermelon and spit the seeds toward the front corner of the house and the next spring it came up. They never got any bigger than a soccer ball but the one we did get were very good.
Tasty Taco Tuesday evening Washington, Tim, Wayne, 350Ken, Ken, Steve and crew. It has been a beautiful day in my woods with much cooler temps, sun, breeze and low humidity.
Tim and Wayne, I am not sure the 2 of you couldn't have almost traded places back in those days!
It was time to finally cut what little grass has grown the last month. Looking at it, I decided to just use the weed eater and do it that way. It only took about 15 minutes for the front and back yard. Normally it takes 45 minutes to mow the front. Now we wait and see it the little rain we did get the last several days make the dirt yard turn green before fall!
