Good Saturday Washington, Tim, Nickolas, Ken, Wayne, 350Ken, Steve, Willie and all the crew I missed.
It was a pretty nice day yesterday and we did have a little rain. Today will be hot and humid at 91° but the Soothsayers say maybe some rain and boomer this evening.
I wish we had a place for cold storage! It would have to be dug deep in the hillside to keep the temperature down.
Anyway, we have 24 pints of pears canned and maybe 2 more canings which would be 16-20 more pints!
Rod, All the pears look great. We canned 44 quarts of Peaches last year, still have a few quarts left. This year we didn't hardly get any peaches. Our cold storage is a commercial unit 10' x 10' built on the side of the shop.
Evening Tim and Nickolas and Rod. Yes, that exhaust looks fine. Good solid welds and no apparent porosity unless it is on the back side! LOL Always fun to see old stuff being saved. I had a chance for one of those when the lids were little and that is why I didn't have to money at the time. Funny how that all goes down to not having money when you have the kids then when they are gone you finally have some excess.
A 10x10 cold room is good sized, with shelves you could hold a ton of stuff.

They do look pretty slurping good. I could go for a nice piece of bread and butter and make a sandwich with them.
