Ha! Good one Tim!
As much as I'd love a newer truck like that I just can't see spending that kind of coin on one! Besides according to my wife I already have waay too many vehicles!
Evening Tim, Ken and Willie. Glad you got some rain in spots. It is good to not have rain for a couple of days here. Church this morning and not much else besides fix the driveway that got washed out during the last deluge!
Merry Monday morning Washington, Tim, Ken, Ken, Steve, Willie and all the crew. It was a busy weekend, but I didn't really accomplish anything other than keep to roads hot!
Today it looks like it is laundry and kitchen day!
OH, time to go out and see how many Cukes and peppers are ready!
Tasty Taco Tuesday Washington, Tim, Nikolas, Steve, Wayne, Ken and all the crew. Another Hot sunny day near 100° but with a breeze and low humidity.

Morning Ken, heat here without the humidity and that will make it almost bearable! LOL
Well Wifey is back form the barn and some of the chicks and a rooster left this morning. Tomorrow some hens leave. I now have been given my orders and to town I am going!
Starting the day at 64° and a little wind blowing.
The Quail are pretty tasty but you need a lot of them. We used to have quite a few of the invasive Asian Dove around here, in my option they even taste better and they are a little larger so it doesn't take as many to make a meal.
We are starting to save some eggs from our chickens, probably send them to the freezer early winter. Our plan is for a new batch next spring.
It does take a number of Quail to make a mess for one! LOL I like the Dove better for the same reason, a little bigger. We have plenty of Mourning Doves if things happed!
Over the late Winter, Spring and this Sunner the Dominics went broody and we went from 25 to near 70! So, some of the chicks needed to leave - 5 months old. She still has plenty of hens dropping Butt Nuggets and more Chicks to start laying about October!
If if didn't take so long I'd go over and hunt some cubby quail. I saw a ton of them at the Quincy lakes when I was working out there 2 years ago. I did see two wild pheasants on this side of the mountain once, not sure how they survive over here.
