Excursion still running strong - just oil changes and keeps lugging our 11000lb travel trailer between the sound and the beach.
GT500 is into the high 11s at the 1/4 mile now. Still working on getting my launches on slicks perfected and had some issues with MSD Two-Step introducing a drain/short that was frying injection components, so I took that off. 60' time is in the 1.7xx, not too shabby for a manual transmission car if I do say so myself.
Going to pick up my grandpa's 1948 Farmall Cub tractor this weekend. He's had it restored once but it needs a little work - my plan is to enter it in car shows and take it to the Evergreen Fair eventually. I would like to pull it to shows with my 65 C10 when I have that running as a fun little "this is my grandpa's cool stuff" entry.
Football season is here - woot. Not much else exciting vehicle-wise - spending lots of time with wife and kids as they grow up into grade-school ages, just enjoying that ride for all it's worth.
Hope everyone is doing well.
Fantastic Friday Washington and all the crew on this long weekend and remember it is the Weekend Eve and almost time to party. Pace yourselves because you have an extra evening! LOL
Hope it is an enjoyable Labor Day Weekend filled with Fun, Family, Friends and plenty of things good to eat!
Ken, I agree with your 5 year old. The Asian doves are annoying.
The 5 y/o is now almost 22 y/o. Time sure flies.
Pheasant in the Columbia Basin were plentiful 40 years ago according to my uncle but not so much any more. Lots of those California quail but a buffalo wing would likely give you more meat.

A '48 is a pretty early one. Old tractors are fun. So simple to see what you need to see most of the time.
Sensational Saturday morning Washington, Tim, Wayne, Nocholas, Willie, Trusten and all the crew. Another hot and sunny day at 91° currently and maybe a storm shortly. RADAR has one headed my way within an hour unless like the last 2 months it falls apart at the border!
Not much on the agenda for today other than keep track of the College scores and highlights starting in about 20 minutes EST!
Afternoon Tim, and we made 94° about 1200, now at 1235 and 73° and we are having rain and some boomers in the distance. I was hoping we would get an up front seat for the sound and light show!
I don't worry too much about packed stores in my area with Tourists! Not much of that traffic in my area.
It's going to be HOT here this weekend, 68° this morning but headed to the 90s.
Headed to the store this morning before the tourists wake up and crowd the stores.
Nikolas, I'm not headed that way but what kind of problem are you having with your truck?
Something on the lighting circuit is sending 12v to ground on the entire truck. At napa now, I suspect its the fancy Holley LED headlights I bought, if so they will hear from my lawyer on Tuesday.
