Fineshed up installing the backhoe mounts on the tractor this morning. Then went over to a friend's for a while, came home to a nap and now here I am. Time to go do chores.
Good morning Ken, Lin and the rest the Ford Drivers checking in.
Lin, Thanks for stopping by.
Ken, Now I'm just waiting on the rest the backhoe to show up.
Plan for today is to work in the shop. Do a bunch of clean up and a little organizing and work on the Bronco some. I didn't sleep well last night so I'm thinking there is a nap coming later this morning. I've been busy studying graphics design lately, that has been a fun adventure.
Happy 381st National Guard Day Washington, Tim, Wayne, Preston, Ken, Lin and all the crew.
Not much on the agenda today but pick up Dog Bones, move one decoration and hang 2 more in the bathroom - Wifey's orders, wrap Grandsons' birthday presents and go to Moms later and have Ethans 14th birthday Party!
Started the day at 17°, sun came over the ridge top and we are now at 30° and a cold breeze! According to the Soothsayers defective crystal ball my woods should reach a sunny 45°. We will see how that goes!
Tim, have fun in the shop doing them shop things you do!
Have a good and blessed day and remember it is the Weekend Eve and Party time.
Hi Rod, Have fun at the Birthday Party! 17° is a little on the cool side for sure. When I was working for a living I liked it better in the 20s then I did in the 30s, it just felled colder when it was in the 30s. More moist probably.
Well, Tim you sound BUSY .
I popped over since I was bored so thought I would give a little shout here.
I am not a napper but if I didn't sleep and then napped I wouldn't sleep again at night.
Good day, gents, here's your Friday before and after. The locals will recognize this, but for our visitors, this is Snoqualmie Pass through the Cascade Mountains, through the center of Washington state between Ellensburg and Seattle, now known as I-90. The car driving up the highway is an early 42 Ford with full chrome.
Hitting the wayback machine just a little farther...
Hope ya'll have something fun planned at least while the snow is there. Just wet and cloudy over here. Will probably do some blacksmithing this weekend and go to my CGAUX Christmas party tomorrow night. Maybe try and work on the diesel heater on the boat a bit.
I am from the midwest and do miss the snow sometimes.
Only worked on the Bronco for a few minutes, didn't get a nap in but we did burn a large brush pile mainly composed of Rose bush trimmings and old rotted lumber from our old raised garden beds. Designated or I should say designing some 3D printed covers/plugs for the quick disconnects on my tractor. The first one was just a male plug and it worked great, the second one was two sided the female cap side did not work. Printing a test piece #3 as I type.
Been a busy day of running errands and I can't wait to get back home to take a nap! I had an early dentist appointment today and when I have alarms set I sleep like crap like last night.
I was planning to spend a couple hours today weed wackin on my ditch project but I might skip that today with the crazy wind and rain.
No wind or rain today but we got about 4" of snow last night. It is currently 39° at 1430 and melting like crazy. I did get out and snowblow this morning before it turned to a sloppy mess.
Here is a photo of our front yard last night at 2300 hours.
