Evening Tim and Eric. Agreed, things have really changed. Even from the simple pleasure of riding in the back of a pickup truck! Definitely a move away from rugged individualism which is one of the things that helped build this country.

Joyous sunny Sunday afternoon Washington, Tim, Eric, Steve, Ken and crew. it is 84 sunny degrees here with at little breeze. Played Hooky today and didn't go to Mom's or Church after tweaking my back yesterday. See Virginia for a long explanation! LOL

Yes, 60's and 70's were a good time to grow up. It my school during hunting season it wasn't unusual to see people with rifles ot shotguns in the shool. If it fit in your locker that was OK and if it didn't you took it to the office and put it in the corner with the others! LOL
As for the Beer, if the Officer saw you with it and you were not in a car but on foot, he would make you go someplace out of sight. If you were in a vehicle he would stop and see how many you had and make you sit there for a given amount of time before you could drive off. Usually, an hour or so.

I started typing this earlier today, it's been one of those days!

Good afternoon Ken, Rod, Steve and other.

It's been a busy day, we had company right off the bat this morning, and just continued on from there. 61° at 1300 local time, we just got a pot roast on the stove.

1730 dinner is done and man it was good! I think it warmed up into the mid 70s today!

Good morning Washington Ford Fans.

Thanks for checking in Roy, even though it looks like you thought you were in Virgina!

Kind of a late start today. Looks to be a nice day today so far, starting at 60° and just a tad of a breeze. They say we are going to get up to 70° today.

Headed to the big city today to pick up my new Safety glasses.

Evening Tim. Warm here but decent. fishing in the a.m. but fruitless. Then I bought some flowers for the Mrs. and potted them up. Back to cutting up the locust till the saw broke. I have another saw, but it was a good excuse to stop!

I'm back from the big city, my safety glasses are a little different than I'm used to, I'm sure I'll get used to them.
