Has anyone with a truck with all the emissions crap on checked the oil after it’s been changed? It is nasty black, just think what it’s doing to the engine and everything else.
Yeah, its just as black and nasty in today's diesel as it was in a 1999 Ford 7.3 and my 2001 Kubota, and every other diesel I drove from 87 to now.

So... what's your point?
Not only that, you could “fix” the oil for a few hundred bucks and install a bypass oil filtration system and get the soot out of the oil.
Deletion is not a valid option.

I run a FS2500 oil bypass system and my oil is still black unfortunately but I do believe it helps get some soot, if it starts to clump together, as well as other stuff and it's does add a little more oil to the system.
If i did consider running past the OCI my truck tells me, usually 7.1k to 7.5k miles, I'd have to take a sample at maybe 4k to 6k miles to check for fuel dilution which is what would stop me from going out past... I'm a bit of overkill minded and like having a bypass filter but with the EGR still intact and stock, I'd worry about the amount of soot and fuel thinning out the oil with the regens.
I just had a sample come back in really good shape at 7.3k miles and at less than 0.5% fuel dilution... But down the line, if those SOA pistons get CARB certified, and I got this engine rebuilt with a set, the engine would be producing less soot so I'd maybe think about going further out on oil, with a sample prior to to check for fuel dilution. Plus most soot is in the sub micron size, unless it clumps, so while I think some is caught by the bypass, some of it goes right through which also means it should be small enough to pass between the various parts in the engine...

I am late to the thread, however here’s my 2 cents. I am 15, and I got a 6.7 for Christmas. I am beyond thankful, it is a stock 2012 with 199k and some change. I am going to be pulling a landscape trailer with it. I will be deleting. I like all the noises, and don’t like dealing with the issues that tag along with the DPF and DEF system. that’s all.

Good luck kid... I mean it. 15 YO and has a 6.7... Way far ahead of me and the beaters I used to drive at 16, at HS graduation and even college. Bought my first new vehicle, a 96 F250 with a 5.8 Windsor when I got the cop job. Plowed snow like a mother... You're way cooler than I was back then... You sound like a well raised and responsible kid.
You're better off deleting because the stop and go driving of a landscaping/lawn service truck would not be good for those 6.7 emissions. You don't need a 6.7 to pull a lawn business trailer but like you, i don't need a 6.7 to drive to work everyday and like you, i wanted one...
Thankfully I live south of Buffalo where it's hilly and it keeps the emissions hot to keep them in check... Just had my EGR cooler core replaced under warranty, it's expired now, with 117k miles and it wasn't plugged all the way. I think I did good because I do not let my truck idle a ton.
When the 2nd factory cooler core starts to plug and she throws a P0401 code again, I'm going with a Bullet Proof Diesel EGR stainless cooler core ... Not cheap but has a lifetime warranty...
I believe that diesel emissions testing is coming to the whole state so we have to play by the rules here. So I wish you luck with your new truck...

think of all the people you will be killing with your delete. Think of the children!
I like to tell those climate freaks....in a few billion years no life on Earth will even be here so WTF cares. In a trillion years the Earth won't even be here.
Even less than that: within a billion years, the sun will be 10% brighter than now. In 3.5 billion, 40% brighter, and the oceans will have boiled off. Within another billion, the sun will become a red giant, and will engulf (and destroy) Mercury and Venus. If Earth survives, it will be a dry, scorched rock. If we haven't found a way off and a new home within the next few hundred million years, we will go the way of the dinosaurs.

Thats what I am doing as well. Finding the comfort zone on OCI. I took a sample at 6900, and the results came back as an easy 4K more, so at 9500 will send in another sample. This will give me a good indication on fuel and package lifetimes. Fuel on the last one was less than trace. Part of it is I don't idle and don't city drive. Average MPH is 45, since I drive rural @62 and some 35 mixed in 3 days a week. My regens are controlled by me, happen ONLY when I have 30 miles of highway to drive and are done long enough by the time I get home or work that the EGT are back to normal temps. I also use quality fuels and Hot Shots Secret for a clean fuel system. My last truck was deleted, only advantage it had was no DEF use. It smoked, it stank, and it was loud. Was glad to be rid of it.
I have seen stupid before, but blatant stupidity does exist.
Not only is the dealer illegally selling a deleted pickup, HE IS was ADVERTISING IT ON YOUTUBE!!!
Remember the guy with the ram who advertised it on Facebook? Yeah, he only lost the truck, imagine losing the entire dealership. LMAO
Deleting the EGR is the single best thing you can do to make the engine last past 300,000 miles. If you do it right you don't need a tuner. That's my 2 cents

You are saying you can delete the egr off a 6.7 powerstroke with out a tuner and not set any engine codes and/or derate the engine?
