Funeral went fine yesterday - well at least as far as those things go.
Carolyn was a Navy Lieutenant (Regisitered Nurse) who suffered a disabling LOD injury. The injury (a broken back) resulted in a Medical move to the Fleet Reserve many years ago. The Navy sent a “4 striper” Captain (equivalent to an army full bird Colonel for those not familiar with Navy rank & file) to the service.

Lunch break in the lumber yard again.
Thinking about taking off after work and stopping at one of the camp grounds around Hood River, then finish the drive in the morning.
I’ve got the irrigation system all fixed up & we are getting ready to head out for Lone Tree at Cottonwood Canyon. Campground is full, we reserved the last spot. You could always join us there. Camp should be big enough & all you would need is the extra vehicle fee. It’s on the John Day River. It is a longer drive though if your tired. Looks like Memaloose may have walk up - first come. first serve sites. It’s a bit of a pain to get to it if your heading east.
