Added a platform to the front of the trailer to carry extra fuel, I'm not sure what towing the trailer is going to do to fuel mileage.
Had some visitors again last night at the Gilchrist place....
Tried to finish connecting the new transmission cooler in the van, yep that didn't go as needed. Still need some more parts.

Brett, my condolences.
Made it back from Iowa. That was the longest two days ever. New rig is pretty awesome and looking forward to putting it to work.
Iowa is an interesting place... I've never seen roads so straight. The only turn you make is at an intersection. Super clean with a Dutch influence.
We could learn a few things from thier farming practices for sure. they incorporate these berms to prevent rain erosion. Corn, beans and pork is what is grown in Iowa. Lots of it.
It would also appear South Dakota can make some decent beer too. We may have sampled as much as possible on the trip.

Didn't get home until after midnight on wednesday so slept in on thursday and ran some errands. Fished all day today to no avail and the just like that the season is over. Algae has ended it as usual. At least I got 6 days in with only one day being productive. And so it goes.
No real plans for the weekend. Clean up the one RV and get the for sale sign on it and that's about it.
That looks like quite the machine Rich!
We got the F350 back from the shop right at the close of business last night....translated to "just in the nick of time". So now we have another little hiccup to interfere with our time schedules for the G2G next week. My Navy veteran cousin / nurse passed away this week while undergoing surgery. They have scheduled the funeral for Thursday June 1. Going to talk it over with everyone Monday at the Family Reunion Potluck / Picnic at the old Stewart homestead place where that side of the family unloaded the covered wagons and my grandmother and mother were born.
Got a few more things moved off of the farm last night. Have to head out in a bit and try and move a couple of big items. Son has to work this morning and isn't available to help. Not sure my nephew, BIL and myself have enough horsepower to move the one "railroad" desk or the big hutch.
Not real sure I ever want to use these again......
Brett, yep adding a transmission cooler to the Astro van to help temperature when towing.
Andy was taking some time off to work on his place.
Jim the snow shoes might come in handy at the new place.
