Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 36° with clear blue skies overhead. Still a little bit of steam rising off the river bottom and and tthe wet land.
Elk were in at 0130 this morning but didn't want to stick around for a daylight viewing.

Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Made it to Diamond Lake and with Murphy’s help we were only about 4 hours behind schedule. Warden came down with a bad cold Monday & she has kindly passed it on to me.
Have to finish unloading the boat & get it in the water today.
We were surprised to see there is currently no camp host in Thielsen View and a couple of people are taking advantage of it. One person is mooring his boat on the 15 min launch which will cause problems for other boaters wanting to launch or recover. Don’t know yet if they are planning on getting another host in or not.

Fever broke during the night & now it’s time to get this show on the road! Spent half of yesterday in bed fighting off this crud. Needles to say we are behind schedule and missed the morning fish.
