Yeah no problem. It's a 10K so it'll haul a decent load. Let me know and I can have it ready. I've got all kinds of straps and chains and binders that are with it. I just keep moving it around when I mow.
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else.
The camera's I left up on the mountain have picked up an intruder. He's been back a couple of times. It looks like he/she was trying to drill a hole in the corner post of the porch rail by the hot tub. I put a mat over it temporarily in an attempt to discourage him. "IT" came back to find the mat and then flew off to a nearby tree. Boy, was he pissed and did we hear about it. It came back and found the mat still there and we heard even more displeasure from him, but he didn't return, at least while we were there.
I had left 3 cell phone camera's set up on the house before we left. I've got a couple more standard trail camera's set up on some trees looking for bigfoot. I just know I'll get a picture of one of them.
Anyway, Cell cam 2 triggered last night as we were coming through Salem at 2025 on the way home. Our woodpecker had returned. He must not have hung around for long as he didn't trigger it again. So far today, it has only returned once. No holes in the post on photo so maybe he found a real tree to make a nest in.....I hope. When we go back up on Friday, the .22 goes with me unless I can find some other deterrent. He really made a mess out of the east deck railing and the one corner post. It didn't take him long either. In a space of 5 hours that we weren't there, he made a number of "test" holes on the railing, but finding those were solid, moved onto the one corner post, found it was hollow and made about a 1 to 1-1/2" hole in it. I'm pretty sure "it" was looking for a place to nest. The previous owner had had problems on the same post several years ago. According to Lynn, his wife took care of that woodpecker. Apparently she is quite a shot with a rifle. I'll be sure to call them first (or not) before I send my wife over to their place at night for a cup of sugar.
2025 last night 1042 this morning....and it was raining up there.
Chris, projects are slowing coming along as weather permits. About 3/4 done with siding and about 2/3 done with the slate on deck. The '50 Ford I just picked up some sound deadening for the cab. I need to clean up the inside some more and apply it and then start on the wiring. Been busy helping the daughter and son in law on a few things as they are having a baby next month. Then I become a grandpa or as I tell them call me grumps (short for grumpy grandpa).
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Up to 52.3 with blue sky. Supposed to hit 63 today.
Been working on gun club stuff since 0630. New member orientation time of year. Safety classes and new member orientation coming up starting tomorrow. General meeting tonight. Book work, Oil change on the 350, and a bunch of other things going on today.

Thanks Andy. We have some work to do. Some of which I can do, and other that is going to have to be hired out. I don't have the equipment or horsepower to deal with some of it. On the other hand, we were able to negotiate the price down substantially - enough that it will more than cover the work we will have to hire out.
Guess one of the things we are going to have to deal with is our not so friendly and very persistent woodpecker. He's causing some damage and going to have to be controlled or "go away". I've had to deal with them out on the ranch here and have never found a good deterrent once they get determined to "hang around" the house instead of going back to a nearby tree.
This morning.....
