Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else.
Ventured back to Bravo Compound arriving around 0130 Fri morning. Made a flying trip to the valley for an unexpected appt and getting deer and bear meat to the butcher. Whole bunch of stuff going on over the next 3 days. We’ll be headed back to Alpha compound this afternoon and probably be back here Tuesday night or Wednesday morning.
Then we have a problem with the county that Bravo is in. For some reason they have added 1/4 acre to our place and seem to think the neighbors 14,000 square foot indoor arena & the outdoor arena are now ours to pay taxes on. I may have to make a run into the county offices on Wed. We’re a big ‘frontier’ county here and it’s 95 miles one way to the county tax office.
So far 3 letters and 3 phone calls have yielded zero results.
This is what I found this past Weds. afternoon….going back for him on Saturday.
Got to West Salem a little before 0730 this morning. Dropped boat off at boat shop for winterising and visited with Dennis & crew. Now we’re at McDonalds eating a gourmet breakfast & waiting for the Warden’s first Dr’s appt.
Morning all. Back to the grind after tues-fri at 7 feathers for a conference then to Gold Beach for mini vaca at one of our favorite RV parks with a hot tub. There is never enough time at Gold Beach for me.
