Snow melt is really filling the streams up here. Stopped at Salt Creek Falls yesterday evening & it was roaring.

Still a lot of snow in the upper elevations. I think the last time I looked they were saying 135% of normal, but that is dependent upon which zone of the Cascades you’re talking about. You could see a big difference along 58 yesterday. Willamette Ski resort was showing quite a bit of bare ground. Still quite a bit of snow on Diamond Peak & the wilderness area.

Had guests from around 2230 until about 0530 mowing the lawn and fertilizing it.
The "invisible black flash" may be invisible to humans, but animals not so much. I've noticed this in the past and it is again proving true. Obviously, they can see it just as easily as the red glow variety of flash.
Quite the Thunder and Lightning storm tonight. Marble sized hail and huge rain drops. We had just gotten back from doing some sightseeing and I had parked the pickup in the upper driveway. When the hail started we got the pickup into the barn. Sound like artillery shells going off on the roof. The hail hitting the water was producing small guizers that looked like multiple rifles firing into the water. I was talking to Lynn a bit later about setting up the irrigation pump and checking out the system. He said they moved up into this area in 1995 and can't recall seeing hail like that before.
Went over to our rec house and shot some pool tonight. I'm glad we were in our own private place and not a public one. I was pretty telling that we hadn't shot any pool in a lot of years.
Did someone say pool? Im in! Is it BYOB? I used to play and enjoy billiards before adulting.
Been busier than a one legged man in a butt kicking contest! Lots of stuff needs done and even more I can’t accomplish. This doesn’t include the fun things I actually want to do!
