Good evening! Just joined. Portland native. Consider myself an old Chevy, new Ford guy. But that's just a preferential guideline. I simply like anything that looks, performs and sounds cool. Ford and Chevy dominate that criteria, though not exclusively. Anyhow, I own a 2013 mustang GT which is our only form of transportation now, unfortunately. But in about 5 weeks, I'll take delivery of a 1994 f150 standard cab XL 4.9 inline 6 cylinder with only 55,000 miles. I'm really excited. I wanted either an obs f150 or 90s era Chevy 1500. My preference was a F150 with the legendary I6 engine and that's what I'll get!
Don't want to do anything crazy, it's all a out being a practical work truck/every day driver, but it is a 30 year old vehicle that spent most it's life in the coastal region salty air so I'm sure I'll need the expertise and experiential wisdom of owners here to overcome some pesky issues that should potentially arise and maybe a few simple mods as I feel I might want.
When I finally get my hands on her, I look forward to frequenting this forum for guidance.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 44, overcast but dry for now.
It's 50 and beautiful with a few scattered clouds where I'm at in the Willamette valley. So long as I keep my eyes on the sky and mountains and not down at the tent cities, graffiti, syringes, feces, etc.
We're way out west valley at the edge of the Coast Range Mountains. The Marine layer is lifting and the heavier clouds are breaking up for now so we actually have some sunshine.
Getting ready to take a load of stuff up to our place between La Pine and Gilchrist.. We're really hoping it stays dry until we can get there and get unloaded.
Good evening Ford Drivers'.
Took the new trailer on a trip around the neighborhood it tracks well from what I can see in the rear view mirror, it's too narrow to see with the side mirrors so I need to order tow mirrors now.
Morning all. Nice week in Bend last week. Stayed an extra night and made it home on Saturday. Spent yesterday on the River instead of doing chores. I'll pay the price for that laziness later this week since I have 3 night meeting in row starting tonight. Water pump crapped out on my trolling motor so another thing added to the to do list.
Welcome Nick. I had a 93 F150 4x4 RC with a 300 six I bought new after I got out of college. Great truck that I had a lot of fun in. Did a lot of "overlanding" around Oregon before overlanding was a thing.
Jim - Congrats! I've got a 20' flatbed trailer if you need it.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else.
Back from central Oregon, 1 load down, 499 to go!

I might just take you up on that Rich. I need to get on the tractor and see what they’ve done to it and what I need to do to get it running. She told me the battery is dead but says that’s the only thing wrong.
