Good afternoon Oregon and everyone everywhere else.
Started out this morning at 0750 at the Wardens doc appointment in Salem, then followed that with Demon Kitty’s doc - Vet visit in Newberg. Went from Vet Hospital to Shari’s where we are having breakfast for lunch.

Nope. It’s my understanding that a number of elk, including one that made the record books, have been ‘harvested’ from the main house and from the Rec/Guest House.
Won’t be this year though. My partners and I have tags for Shed Springs in Wallowa County.

Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else.
Finally made it home this afternoon.
Stopped at Ford to inquire about a replacement key for the F350. WOW!!!!!!!! In case you missed that, WOW!!!!! $197 for the key/FOB. They have them in stock. $75 Service appointment required to get it programmed. It’s takes a week to get an appointment. In a week I’m going to be at Joseph Canyon so, I go with one key.

I’ve yet to see one during legal hours. There have been a couple of cows in daylight, but not when we’ve been there. They were caught on the cameras is the only way we knew they were there.
We are at Alpha Compound in the valley right now. The cows and calves have been at Bravo for the past 2 + hours. Looks like they are bedding down in the meadow now. One of the calves developed a fascination for cam 2. It’s been steaming it up, nudging it and finally using it as a scratching post. The camera has now been moved and the pics are all at an angle.
One of the big bulls is making an appearance now but he’s staying at the edge of flash & picture range and is pretty grainy.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 44.1 here at Alpha Compound.
Elk were all over at Bravo compound last night and this morning. Cell Trail cams, local trail cams and the security cameras on the well house, Back Door & Driveway we’re all going off. Calves were running and playing in the back yard.
One cow reached up with her nose and readjusted the driveway camera so now it’s pointed off to the side and screwed crooked A calf got Cell Cam 2 scewed off. Lois like it was a fun night at Bravo Compound and we weren’t there for it.
Getting ready to go to the air show in Mac today.
Sliming the driveway security camera. That camera is 6-1/2’ / 7’ up a pole.

Look in your owners manual for the instructions to program the FOB. I think you can just buy the FOB and reprogram yourself…. Just an idea, it used to be fairly easy.
Morning all. Finally a break from the school work. "mid-terms" on Monday to see where we are. 2 more weeks of this hell. I'm still struggling with the shifting. I'll be glad when this is done. I'm too old for this ******.
Jim, Bret is right. Just buy a FOB on Amazon and program it yourself provided you have 2 of them. I believe you need 2 to program the 3rd one. if you only have one, then the dealer is the only option.
Headed north to my parents place to watch the blue angles then home to study some more.
Unfortunately I now only have 1. It was my understanding that I need two to program a 3rd. Guess I’ve got a a little over a month to get it figured out or maybe even find the one that was apparently abducted by aliens.🛸👽
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 41.9 & clear.
We’re loading some items in the 350 today and heading back up to Bravo Compound via a supply run to Costco.
Tuesday-Weds will be getting the camper loaded & outfitted as a man cave- hunting lodge. Thursday morning I’ll meet up with the rest of the at 0800 in Bigs Jct. & we’ll convoy from there up to the hunting camp at Joseph Canyon.
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Well, today didn’t go as planned. Had a couple of problems getting an item loaded in the truck, (insufficient horsepower) Then a roller on the garage dood popped out jamming up the door and the driver track. Took a bit of time fixing that….
Then the vet called and we had to go to Newberg to pick up a different type of meds for the cat. From there we headed over to I-5 at Aurora & headed South to Salem Costco. Took longer than expected buying out the store. Then I had to rearrange our load to fit everything in.
The good thing about re-doing the load is that I found the missing truck keys. They were tangled up in some cargo netting at the bottom of a duffle bag I use to store cargo netting, web straps, ratchet straps and other goodies.
We stopped at Pioneer Travel Center in Halsey, eating lunch & dinner running several hours behind.
We through in the towel and decided to stop at the SB Oak Grove rest stop for a nap.
