Morning all. Been working our tails off. Lot of mowing and wife got some flowers to plant that will die later. haha.
Going to do a check ride with the boat later not sure if we will drown a worm or not. Would like to see less flow but not complaining. Fishing will be a bit of challenge this year given the snow melt.
Good evening Oregon & everyone everywhere else.
Got a late start by about 2 hours made even worse when we got to Salem & realized I had left my wallet at home. So, back we went, 35 miles 1 way to retrieve my wallet. Soooooo, we dropped Murphy off in Salem, bought him a bus ticket to Seaside and had a pleasant rest of the trip. Got into the state park in La Pine at 2015. Not bad considering we were planning on between 4 & 5.
Supposed to be a day off and I've been working most of the day from home. "stuff happens" or Mr. Murphy is in Corvallis.
Took a rip up the ***** yesterday and then turned east up the Santiam past I-5. Good run. Boat runs well like usual. Need to add some fresh gas and I'll be good to go.
Brett, didn't fish as the river is "full" and current is crazy. While I've fished these conditions in the past, I didn't wet a line yesterday. Not alot of fish yet (148 so far) but if a guy had time you might find a biter with enough hours. Just burned some of that old E0 92 Premium gas.
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Started raining cats and dogs around 1600 so we headed back to camp. Got the camper off the pickup so we can run around unencumbered. Hamberger for dinner but didn't get to cook over an open fire because of the rain. Well, I guess we did cook over an open flame since we used the gas stove in the camper.
Hopefully I'll have some pictures downloaded and some more news with pics by 2000 hours.
Good evening Ford Drivers'.
Murphy did almost make it into Seaside, I pulled and loaded 108 bundles of roofing just for the delivery to be cancelled this morning.
