Friendly gesture, Id suggest taking that picture down, it has important info in the background.

I apologize. Thank you for catching that. That's my inexperienced side showing again. I've been sheltered a lot of my childhood and don't know a lot of basic things. Still hard for me to talk around people sometimes.
Forgive me for I am young but what is a heim joint?
And also how would I know exactly which one I need? Measure the diameter of my track bar eyelet hole?
This is a heim joint.
I was joking really. Heim joints do not muffle road noise from the suspension to the cab and the higher quality ones that provide reasonable longevity in a street vehicle are mucho dinero. They are typically used on vehicles where precision positioning of articulating components is valued over ride comfort i.e. race cars and airplanes.

Oh I know what that is! I just don't know it by that name! To me it's a spinny ball end with a hole!
You're joke went right over my head!
Thanks for the info! It's nice to have another thing in the mind folder!
Again I just have to mention, I don't know where I would be without all of you kind folk to teach me! And I just have to say thanks!

You are a delight to offer a metaphorical hand to.
Your continuous and respectful notes of appreciation affirm that fact.
That you actually listen to the advice of members, and yet demonstrate the capability to act and think independently such that you are not reliant on the advice of others, also adds to the delight in seeing you progress, and offer assistance whenever you request.
And finally, you move forward at such a whirlwind pace, I was gone for a couple of days and thought you might be rock crawling the Hammers by now with your 4WD rig all fixed up.

No pressure.
Thank you very much good sir for your kind words! I can't help but listen and try my best to be respectful and kind because I am so lucky to have such good friends to help me and to celebrate with me!
Oh but the pressure is on! I still don't have a transfer case or cross member yet! And I still am unsure if I'm going to tackle the job of installing it myself! I'm thinking of taking it to a shop to have the transfer case put in. Just because you have disassemble the transmission. If the gears themselves didn't have to come off of the shafts I wouldn't worry about it. I feel like I could pull the gears out no problem especially because of the service manual that I got from Sous!
But when it comes to actually pulling gears off of the output shaft to change it, I feel a little under tooled(not talking about below the belt here)!

I was envisioning a seedy place where jack boot wearing blondes meet for a few half liters...
I know those as Spherical rod endsfrom my CNC equipment repair days.
