I thought more guys would comment on this... But I guess not.
Moving on...
I ordered some supplies from Dieselfiltersonline. Here's what I got...
The goody box...
I bought 2 6R140 trans filters which the current one will be replaced in about 12k miles at 90k miles. Then I'll be good for another 60k miles.
3 oil filters for another 21k miles or so. I took a sample of this last oil change I did. Going to send out Blackstone and post here when I get the UOA report.
My last Motorcraft filter i had left...
Three Fuel filter sets good for another 66k miles.
I let the truck tell me when to change the filters. I'll have to look up the mileage when they were last changed and post up.
Do not forget to pull off the old o-ring and use the one provided with the kit.
Remember to use oil on the o-ring and housing threads. The cap turns on easily then. Be careful when you get to the end or you'll snap off the stop off the cap and housing.
I am talking about this stop...
Finally bought an extra cap for the DFCM.
The 32mm nut on the bottom.
The socket i use.
The new cap had a non slip piece of material on it that my OEM one does not have... Unless it came off at one point. But i do not remember one though.
These were cheap enough to buy and have extras. The valve drain and the WIF sensor.
The first time i did this but think its a good idea for sure.
the ford documentation seems to have changed. 20111 - 2016 shows 4 micron in the engine bay, 2017 and later 2 microns. of course this is moot with out knowing the efficiency rate.
Thanks. It wasn't cheap but at dieselfiltersonline shipping is free if you spend at least $250. Plus their prices are pretty competitive...
So I'd figured I would spend enough to get the free ground ship and be set for awhile.

Dave, it seems there is a issue finding MoCo parts that are fakes very well disguised as original. Just be careful when sourcing these from vendors other than dealers or known Ford parts guys. Great info! We found something similar with glowplugs on the 7.3 side. Same situation, different engine. Appreciate you posting this up.

Thanks bro. I found out about Dieselfiltersonline from here. Never ordered from there before. Gonna also possibly source extra Airdog filters from there as well as the Parker SNAPP filters for the S&S DPK filter ... Not installed yet but hopefully soon. I used to buy from Amazon. I feel safer going through dieselnfilters. I'll maybe have to check out Villagefordparts.com for filters. Ordered from them before but never filters.
Thanks for the heads up bro. Good hearing from you.
There are deep fakes out there for regular maintenance items. dieselfiltersonline carries true Motorcraft parts. It's Amazon 3rd party sellers we need to watch out for.
