Ok so my worst fear has come true but don't think it's a game stopper. The DPK kit mounts where our catch cans are but I believe I have the solution. I'm going to pull the catch can and mount off that same location and extend the catch can lines with hose menders and place the can on the breaker box by the left quarter panel. I'm going to make some sort of box out of foam or something to keep the can from sliding around on the breaker box and causing wear on it.
I think this is most definitely doable and that we will be able to maintain the use of the catch can and have the protection of the S&S DPK kit.
I'll post pics here with my progress and what I do. Yes that sticker made of yellow masking tape says what you think it says because when I've pulled off the bypass oil refill cap off to pull the can off to check it, I've forgotten it a "FEW" times and have got ****ing oil everywhere...
Okay. so I can't find a A6SABF488 which was their 165 GPH at 10 PSI to feed the DFCM on the frame. I called around like crazy. I may call a few more places but it's probably a crap shoot. I should have bought it when I first saw it. They discontinued that as well as the 100GPH at 10 PSI one.
They replaced it with A6SABF489 (165gph at 55 PSI) which totally replaces the DFCM. I don't want to replace that so I am going to re-engineer the new kit as the pump pressure can be adjusted. I will call them and see what they think and to get their thoughts on a few things. I'll post what I come up with but right now, my focus will be getting in the S&S DPK kit first.
For those that don't know, I am choosing AiR Dog over Fass because I THINK it's a better unit but also I don't want to drop my fuel tank which you have to do with the Fass unit. I'm not deleting and running a bigger turbo, bigger injectors so the stock fuel pickup is good enough.

Gonna run a modified A6SABF489 sent up to run with the DFCM.
I figured out how to keep the DFCM with the current model that Air Dog has for the 11 to 16 6.7s. I just have to get extra parts that will not be in the A6SABF489 kit. These 4G models for Air Dog can be adjusted for the fuel pressure. Very easily done. I'll adjust it down from the preset pressure of 55 PSI from the factory to 10 PSI to supply the Diesel Fuel Conditioning Module aka primary pump/filter/water separator. I'll have to buy and install a pressure gauge. The Air Dog has a port for that. I called Air Dog to confirm and they said "no problem." I'm stoked.
To bad Ford still has all those 2021's sitting in Kentucky waiting on chips
If you were in the market for a new truck you have to ask because both 21's and 22's with be on the lot together. This is going to be a messed up year for trucks in general.
No doubt Bone. Definitely shaping up to be a jacked up year all right. I feel bad for the guys who need trucks for their businesses. The other consumers could just wait.
As I have drove by different dealers there lots don't have much in them. Looks like dealers are only making money in the back of the house. I have to get my oil changed this week. Trans fluid is another thing I need to do it's only money.
