Is it working good for you? Interested to see what "3 stage" even means, it looks like a heavy duty unit.
About as good as it ever will I suppose. I haven’t logged it in awhile. Seat of the pants feel is that it is operating properly. The only real way to know is to plug it into the laptop to watch actuator position readings. I wonder if the tungsten disulfide dry lube takes time to “activate” (for want of a better word). The vanes did not seem to get to closed position as readily right after the rebuild of the Turbonator as opposed to now. Now when the PCM commands the EBPV shut I notice a pretty good rise in EBP.
Sorry, I haven't seen the movie so I'm not getting the reference.
All right, all right, all right...
Be a lot cooler if you did...
I get older and they stay the same age...
Those are the lines from that scene I remember right off the top of my head.
That TransAm was a cool car and I think he called it White Lightning.
In light of your not so confidence inspiring post about the function of your Turbonator, if you have the urge to go compound turbos, I am changing my advice to JUST DO IT!!!
Sous nailed it pretty much. Overall theme was meant to represent me standing on sidelines with a beer saying DOIT. Itl be fine, in the context of that movie.
What A/R turbine housing do you guys think I should use for the S372 atmospheric?
Next crazy idea: Do you think I have room to cut a hole in the firewall then weld a doghouse so I can position the atmospheric turbo above the transmission? Or will the guts of the dash behind the firewall get in the way?

You will probably want the largest turbine housing available, I think the turbine could be a choke point. The S400 series that many use for compounds has a 96/88mm turbine wheel, quite the jump up from an 80/73
