What kind of intercooler do you have? You are sure getting the boost now. Plastic ends aren't going to cut it long. All looks good.
Just went back and see you have the Hypermax CAC, you should be good.
That is something to watch . Doesn't air become a solid at 60psi? You are cramming it in there and that rig is flying. Let's see it tow something...something too big...
When I rode in the truck while visiting Leonard near his home in MN, it was a beast. It was an absolute beast and it was hamstrung due to the non-functional actuator.
The videos and gauges don't do it justice just how strong this truck runs. Too much power for my liking though. I fully support and encourage Leonard to shoot for the stars with his build as it is fun to watch and be happy for him during his success stories.
Be safe brother!
Hard to see on the gauge, but I saw a 1275° EGT maximum reading for a split second, is that right?
I see EBP was pegged at the maximum reading of 55 PSI a lot of the time. That is expected in my opinion due to the high MGP readings.
Watching the IAT gauge rise quickly is a strong indication that your intake was working as hard as it possibly can. MAT spiked a couple of times, but all in all stayed pretty cool for a multiple 40+ PSI boost reading.
IPR DC and ICP look good from here based on the tune selected and the performance observed.

Yup! I had my doubts that thing would fit as I was installing it.

I'll see if Dan V will let me tow his horse trailer. Maybe I'll ask the local rental place I used to rent from a lot if they need any forklifts delivered.
Still can’t beat your daily departure though.
One needs a 5 point harness and helmet just to watch FTN's videos.
You mean like this?

I wish I had this done in time for your visit. It would have been somewhat representative of what the truck can do rather than the weaksauce, surge-prone vehicle you rode in that day.
As far as the temperature readings go, I think none of them had reached steady state peak before I got off the gas. I was already going at way over the speed limit when I did.
I really miss the lack of true drive and boost pressure sensors with the absence of the electronic version of the Turbonator. I wonder if EBP went much beyond 55psi.
I can send you the raw footage of the drive that shows how IAT falls as the truck picks up speed and air is rammed into the airbox.
Well I just finished reading this entire thread, and wow! Thank you for going through the effort to make this happen! This is a can of worms I might have been better off never opening while I research what I want to do for a full motor build
