LMC has the holes correct. I need to lengthen my throttle linkage to install mine. Neighbor that gave me the Carter adapted my linkage but looks like rod is too tall to connect pedal. Can't find old pedal or pedal from f600 donor. One of them had three holes. Tried both but neither would stay on. Anyone know what height it should be with throttle pedal up?
Found my old pedals. Two holes iffset was on f600 donor. Big hole with tab was from my f350 cab Trans cover has holes for either. Now to figure the linkage length.

when I did mine it was based on full throttle being bottomed out synchronized with the throttle plate rotation. I think the measurements can vary based on application and geometry.
I have been taking increasingly further trips as a precaution. Lots of thumbs up and compliments are nice. First tank is almost out and I will be switching to regular from non-ethanol and see if it handles it well. I have hardened seats and stainless valves so everything is fine for the crummy fuel, its more a matter of the octane and 11:1 compression...
Great looking truck. I have heard the ethanol fuels are hard on rubber components such fuel lines ,carb parts and can run a little hotter. I have a 312 y block with carb and just going to keep the non ethanol fuels running.
Nice to see another 60 4x4 on the road!!
As a newbie to this site, this thread is inspirational and encouraging! Loved watching the build! Brett, your way of going about things is great to see! I love that your whole family is involved to some extent. Like a good book, I didn’t want to get to the end of the feed. Now I’m going to be anxiously waiting for new posts!

Thank you! I was trying to show DIY is an acceptable approach on these trucks. Yes full restoration is very desirable but most folks cant shell out big-o $$$. RestoMod is also desirable but I like the middle. Thanks again, your comments made me smile!
Thanks Jeff! It drives better than it looks so I am very pleased.
That means you have more than accomplished your goal and have a very nice truck!

I like the stock look with modern brakes and steering, I think that is the best of both worlds.
Well, truck is running well on regular fuel with one thing I noticed. There is a small run-on after turning the key off. Its not huge, but it is one extra spark knock sort of groan. I guess I did notice its a little leaner at idle but very slight (15 AFR vs 14.7).
If you don’t like people talking to you about your truck and lots of compliments these classics aren’t for you!
Now Im figuring how long I can leave the bug splats and bird poop on my new paint! LOL

So, do you need to lust twist the distributor a bit?
Its been raining here the last few days and it looks like I will be adding the flowable silicone to the seal between the glass and rubber on the front windshield. I have a drip that will be rectified!
