They drive them more carefully generally as well.

End of summer polish

Today I put on the first wax! Its actually glaze but has the same protections and gloss. It is important to wait before adding polish because the paint is evaporating for several months. If not careful with this as I understand it, bubbling and anomalies can occur.

That's really nice. I think I'll show the photos to my truck so it will see what it could have looked like. Or is that cruel?

LOL
Like a good underdog movie? The inspiration scene? Funny...

I like the tool up scenes too. Show your truck pics of the new parts your considering getting it soon.

Hitch

Red60,

I see your 60 3/4 ton has a draw-tite hitch. Do you happen to know the model # of the hitch? I was looking to put one on soon. Does it fit well under the stock bumper? Appreciate the help.

I will look for model or any info for you. Yes it fits under the bumper tight & flush. My spare also fits inside.

So in looking at hitches some vary the drop length. I have the same bumper as yours. I was wondering the drop length measurement of your hitch ( bottom of truck frame to top of the receiver). Some are 7 1/2 some are 8”. Yours fits good under the bumper so thats why I was wondering before I order one. Thanks

It measured at 6 1/2” on mine from the bottom of the bumper to the frame...

Brett,

Thanks for the measurement.

I found a couple that would work.
