The truck looks great. Really great. You do this little forum section proud! If you can get your wife to fashion pedal covers out of the seat fabric it would be more comfortable to drive bare footed! lol
My next issue is bed floor patch panel. Does anyone know where I could get a repair patch? Minimum 4”x12” but better at 5”x14”. Unfortunately it has the square hole for the bed bolt too.

One of my main goals in posting details is to encourage other DIY people to go for it! Not all projects need to be a concourse restore, nor all driven as-is and left run into the ground. I hope to show it is not only for big $$ and professionals.

Well you've been all of that for me and I appreciate immensely. Although, for me, it's more like the JV team watching the Varsity team and saying, "someday...someday". Lol, kidding (mostly), but it's great man watching you doing such fine work and your helping me with all of it.
Truck is really looking good! I like your color combination too.
Thank you, all encouragement is helping keep me motivated! I am building my dream truck to my specifications and sometimes they are very hard to achieve. Home stretch!
Todays layout for bed repair. I didn’t find easy replacement panels so it will be solid steel. The top and bottom “ridges” are 1 5/8” with 1/4” rise. I will fully weld in the bar stock on top of 1/16” plate and clean the welds to fix the hole.
