Is that a Ford specific color? Tried to Google it and come up with Honda. Or is it one of the performance parts places? Looks lkke you could dive into it. Reminds me of the old candy apple paint jobs back in the day. Or many coat lacquer hand rubbed between coats.
I'm in love with that color, It certainly looks great!

Yes it is a Ford color. Police cruiser and Trucks. I think the pearl and metal flake give it the extra depth. Here It is unmasked. Funny how 3+ hours of masking can come down carefully in 30 minutes....
I can’t wait to see it in its full glory with all panels done and assembled!
Extra cool — my mom contributed towards my project as a birthday gift!!
You got the dash too nice and didn't want the add on gauge cluster hanging under?
Interior is going together easier this round. Polishing bezels is easier than cleaning up those plastic *****... several are a little cooked and brittle. Cluster goes in last for additional access!

I cleaned up a **** with fine sand paper on a cable I sold. Came out pretty decent. Haven't done mine yet.
Motor is setting in its home motor mounts secured... All thats left is everything else. LOL
Finally in correct position!
Hey Red, I know this is probably a really rookie question but how did you find that correct position? I think you had a 289 engine? I have a 302 and it looks like I'm using the same motor mounts and brackets you have there. It looks like the bolt-on bracket sits almost directly over the axle, were there holes there already that the bracket lined up with? I just started playing with it today, and the directions aren't real helpful, so I've been scouring videos on how to install those motor mounts with little luck. Your pictures are super helpful though, thank you!!

In my case, the position was found using transmission output yolk position, floor shifter location, and radiator to engine clearance.
I got everything back together in and under the dash. It starts and runs again! I really like how the steering wheel came out... the rest is excellent too but the steering wheel is velvety smooth! The bezels polished out great, vents heater core and ***** are all done.
