I should have mentioned that was a clever way to put your windshield in solo. Must have been a lot of back and forth. Nice that you had the doors off. I got the wife to push on the outside while I pulled the string.
Thank you. Did you have the stainless trim around the window too?

Grumble, cry, then laugh! So far they have missed the visible spots! The last one pictured above is in the masking for example. If it ends up marking up an important spot I may have to sand and recoat depending on the situation.
Today is prepping small pieces, low valence, and fenders.
My donor cab had the trim but I ordered seals without. I was planning on installing the windshield from my original cab but broke it removing it. Then found a mobile glass guy that beat LMC price with freight by fifty dollars.
It seems that old trucks are never really done, I thinks its's it more about the journey than the distension.
Maybe my approach is wrong. I replaced all moving, rubber, or wear parts with new thinking I will have a New Truck in Old Truck clothes. This was a novel thought that I could then just enjoy it until I drive the wheels square! In truth I did skip transmission bearings/seals, front & rear pinion bearings/seals, and transfer case bearings/seals but did replace all of the fluids. Only time will reveal my folly!
The transmission was good till half way through the build it started to leak from the front seal so it had to be rebuilt. Not a big set back but it good to get it out of the way. Hopefully you have better luck. Do you intend to drive it daily in nice weather like I do?
Thanks! They are left overs from one of my Rangers, they fit because I have Mercury car bolt pattern on my truck. At first I just put them on as rollers but they really grew on me. A friend of mine really dislikes them so I think I'll keep them.

I plan to drive it good or bad weather most days especially weekend lumber runs! I have a company vehicle carrying the heavy mileage so this is my pleasure rig.
