What is a decent price? Just curious as it seems prices have escalated recently.
Also, if buying F150 console with a shifter, which specific pieces do you need to buy to make it look like SD? And are those easy to find, reasonably priced, and easy to replace?
Thanks. Looking to do the same soon.
$800 shipped. I haven't even started looking for the piece to replace the shifter. Eventually, I do want to convert my truck to the console shifter though...
Thanks for that! I spent the last hour looking for that with zero luck! I don't know why these parts sites are so vague with their descriptions with no pictures to go by...
For that kind of money, I'll probably just put the console shifter in it.

Thanks for detailed response, appreciate it! These things are expensive! May need to rethink the whole console thing...

Sometime last year, Ford wised up to what people were doing, so they jacked the prices way up. What used to cost $600-700 for a new console now costs over $1700 to piece one together.
I feel like if I can get this one in my truck for $1k, then it's worth it to me, and cheaper than the factory option.
So I need some help. I got a console ordered. Its in great condition other than the USB cover on the rear panel is broke and that same panel has a few scratches. I cannot find the correct part number to replace it. The parts diagram shows part # HC3Z-25045E24-BB. This part number matches two completely different rear panels, one looks like it is for the smaller console that doesnt go all the way to the dash. It shows up like this on several different sites. I guess I could go to my local dealer this week but I'd rather not.....

How hard would it be to repaint outside plastic panels on the sides and back? Are they easily removable so I can spray paint them outside? Has anyone tried it? Wondering if camel color can be easily converted into grey or black...
Also, if I bought one of those used takeouts, are the 2 trim pieces on the dash the only missing components to install the console, assuming I don't care about connecting rear air vents? I read the whole thread and I am pretty sure that's correct, but wanted to be 100% sure before I pull the plug.
I got my console in today. One if the wires up front had the connector missing. The seller has offered to refund me some money toward a new harness. I cant find the part number. Can anyone help or at least identify where it connects to? Maybe I can just solder the?

I painted the A-pillar gauge cluster in my Excursion, it turned out well. However I would be worried with the center console that it would be scratched and start to flake.
Any help in sourcing the rubber insert for this center cubby? I would prefer to have the center piece here where the cup holder will slide toward the drivers side and make 4 cupholders but I cannot find that part number.

Agree. I had painted and clear coated the very back console piece. It scratched easily and showed the underlying color. I ended ordering the color I needed.
