I'm purchasing the parts to assemble one as I didn't want an used one. Its quite a few parts and isn't cheap but it is cheaper than the $900 MSRP option listed for a XLT. As Tricon states above, and he told me as well, it should be an easy swap and looking at things, I'm in agreement. The dash bezels will probably be the roughest part and I've had those apart before. No big deal there. If you're interested in parting one together, I'd need your trim level and trim color.

That would be perfect! Thanks a million!

Here ya go. The prices are approximate. Shop around online. The console is the killer on shipping. I found at a fairly close dealer for $225 with another 5% off. These prices are from FordPartsGiant. I bought all less the console from Varsity Ford in Ann Arbor. They are great!!!

I recently did this. I spent $450 on the console from Ebay. Needed a few other dash parts to make it work. I followed the youtube video but used the right dash parts. All in, I'm in it about $650. I did it mostly because I don't use the middle front seat, wanted more storage space, and really wanted the rear vents (the floor registers under the seats really don't kick out enough air to the back seats and I have 2 young kids.
It was literally plug and play for me. However, two of the 12V ports don't work because I don't have the right harness toward the front of the console. The one on the side of the console - for me - only powers one of the 12V connections in the big storage, and the 120V plug in the rear. So one of the 12V plugs in the big storage doesn't work and the 12V in the rear doesn't. I think there might be LED lighting that doesn't work either. I haven't had the chance to figure out the pin out of that front connector to try and enable all that stuff.
I honestly haven't quite figured it out. I believe its considered the 'armour' color. I'm an STX so none of the fancy stuff. It's a really rough finish gun metal, and black. I honestly like it though.
h20camper, do you have any idea the pinouts for the console harness on the floor? I'm debating if I should tap into that or run my own wires.
Yes, I do but would need to know what all you are looking for. There's 21 pins on it. Many would not be applicable to your truck (XL/STX). Ambient Lighting, Rear Heated Seats, Keyless Antenna, etc

I'm a fluent electrician, and I like to tinker and add things, so I'll take whatever you have, assuming you have the schematic. You can PM me if you need.
