I guess nothing works with the plug down by the passenger seat on mine. Other than the USB and 12V plug in the front under the sliding cover that I hooked up myself...nothing else in mine works (lighting, 12V in bottom of console, 12V on the rear, and the 110V outlet (which my truck doesn't have anyways)). There was a large connector under the front of my console which I had nothing to plug it into, so I believe that ran the rest of it. The seller did include the truck side of the plug with the wires cut, so I could wire it up in the future. I have LED light strips I am gonna throw in to light the storage area...
I had to get a different harness I believe. I used the plugs from that dash that was powering the USB that I removed. I used the 12v source from there also to power the 12v plug in my console and the floor harness powered the rear 12v and 120v plugs. If yours doesn't have the 120v in the dash then it probably doesn't have the inverter. If it does it may just be a matter of adding a fuse under the hood.

Yeah, my truck doesn't have the inverter. I will probably just run 12v wires to the harness sometime in the future to get the 12v plugs working, then put in my LED strips and call it good. I'm not a stickler for "everything has to be OEM and work like such"

I really hope there is a console shift conversion soon!
Yes that would be sweet. I mentioned before that I converted my 2012 Ram 3500 to console shift using the factory stuff from a Ram 1500. It all swapped over with no mods and worked perfect.
Hey H20, how are you?
first off THANK YOU, honestly without all your help this one have been too much to deal with.
so it’s been awhile as my cheap *** thought I would save a buck and get a console off eBay, I did find an as new one off a platinum truck and knew o would need to swap out the black sliding tray for the Sandalwood one what I didn’t realize is the trim color is brushed and mine is as you know obsidian.
anyway after spending another 700.00 I have all the parts and did the install today and it’s really cool!!!!
couple things I’m wondering, like everyone else I do not have the front plug for the console (I thought I would with my lariat) and since I have the cool lighted cup holders I would love to know if you happen to have the pin out for that front plug?
tge only other question is what Bolts do I need for the console to the old seat bracket? I’m guessing I just pick those up at a hardware store?
msn thank you so much for all the help!! Super excited about my new setup!

M6 x 25mm. I got mine at the hardware store, then realized that the seller included the OEM ones all wrapped up with the rubber inserts and console tray
You need 6 of them. 2 going into the dash, and 4 for the old seat bracket. You will need washers if you don't get the Ford bolts

Hey David,
Fortunately, doing well. Hope all is good in your neck of the woods.
Looks like you need PIN 2 of the floor connector (C3133) and PIN 10 of the front connector (C215). See attached PDF.
Dorman makes a package of four bolts you'll need for securing the console to the floor bracket. Advanced Auto has them.

thanks! I thought so. I have the 2 that came out of the dash and that confused me, I just need 4.
on another note I have ALL parts needed to go the other way and put a jump seat in, black leather, dash pieces in Obsidian. New condition. I’ll let it all go cheap as my garage is just too full!

cpobst (or anyone), can you tell me, in plain English, how exactly you made it all work?
Here is my situation: In the console tray area, I only have 2 USB ports, and I used existing 2 wires to connect them. There is no 12V outlet in that compartment, so that wire will just stay underneath the console, not connected to anything for the time being.
I do have 12V and 120V in the dash area, but that 12V is now the only 12V port that works in the truck. The 12V inside the console doesn't, and neither do 12V and 120V in the rear of console. USB in the rear panel DOES work. I checked the fuses based on manual - 66 (inside console) and 70 (rear panel), they are there.
I have that white plug in front of the console (like the picture you posted) that has nothing to plug into the dash area. Did you just leave it unused, or did you buy something to connect it to? If you bought something, what exactly was it and where did it connect in the dash area?
Thank you guys for your help, really appreciate it!

I’m in a similar situation, I’m in the process of hooking mine up. I bought a console from a platinum and it’s going in my lariat.
all of my rear seat stuff works and the USB ports in the tray work. My cup holder lights tray light and storage lights don’t, that’s the front plug that none of us seem to have. It’s just a matter of taking that 12volt power from the power point that we are not using and powering up the items we don’t have.
im hoping to find a diagram of the front plug...
David, are you saying that you did not connect that front console white plug to anything? And that all of your rear power ports work just by connecting the floor plug by the passenger seat into the console?
