Park Assist is done.! I decided that I wanted to move the wood-grain overlay that the previous owner had installed throughout, over to the new switch trim. I'm actually Ok with it, but more use to seeing it there. It can always be undone, just a lot of work.
I couldn't get the guy to take progress pics, but the rims were supposed to have had an acid bath to strip them clean, then a vibratory polish with 1 or more media to get the original polished areas re-polished, then black powder-coat, and a final all over powder-coat of clear. Lifetime warranty on all the powdercoating.
For now, I only had 4 out of the 5 done. I'm still understanding what size tire I'm going with, and what spare to have in the carrier in the rear, the 16", or the 18"..
Whatcha mean? Do you still have the foam block at the bottom of each opening?
Alas, mine are rusty and crusty. The X is feeling the effects of being in Ohio it’s entire life. One side only has enough metal for I think two screws. It’s not a good look.
