You find any local shops that do under carriage details on big boys like the ex? located over in Lake Wylie.

I haven't had a need to go down that road as of yet. I do have the 3M wax cavity stuff to spray the rockers and hidden spots with.

Came from the 99-04 super duty section. All I can say is I'm speechless on all the work you've done to that ex. Makes me feel good inside seeing someone holding on to the old girl like I'm doing with my 04 F350

Driveshaft is in, haven't had time to picture it, or drive it. A wash and dry were more important today.........

I'm honestly pretty proud of it every time I see it, sometimes I'm surprised it's mine.

Ok, new Go pedal assembly installed while they are still in style, Err available....!! I forgot that I had made a repair to my pedal when I bought the vehicle in 2016, the splined pivot pin had backed it's way out and the pedal was really loose. I ended up making a grove all around the pin with a dremel, then added a C clip to prevent the pin from moving again, It's worked all these years, but with my pedal assembly removed, the whole plastic pedal has a lot of wear, and is sloppy. The new pedal assembly no longer has a pivot point, and since it's been redesigned, a mounting bracket is needed to bring the fastening up to date. The pedal is now lower than the brake pedal, but it's a more comfortable feel, for me anyway..

I also got around to replacing the lift gate cable/latches/lock assembly I bought in February. I really didn't think I'd see any improvement, but man the glass opens up so much easier.

Mounting bracket required for redesigned pedal assembly

New pedal assembly

Firewall mounting holes

Bracket in place

other than just another maintenance point, it seems good. A lot of my symptoms are now gone. The next move is rebuild the spare transfer case I have from the parts X to rule out any possible slop from there.

This thread needs to be pinned at the top, holy crap. Major props and respect, there is so much documentation in here to restore or maintain an Excursion it's absurd. (@Toreador_Diesel)? Make things happen?

I'm overwhelmed with projects, but I'll find some time to get these installed. Unfortunately the OE left is NLA, so NAPA it is...
