Been following this post for quite a long time. Getting ready to order some of these LED lights in.
I have 1 question: are you guys who have made the change over getting "flashed" a lot by on coming traffic? Its kind of annoying to me when I come up to rig with "white light". They are so bright you can't tell if they are on high beams or not. On my last SD --I was getting flashed a lot when towing ---until I put some air bags on the truck to level it out. With 4 ---LED headlights coming at you on these new Super Duties---seems like you might not make to many friends on the road. I would like the white light, for sure --but not the constantly getting flashed part. What have you guys found on this?
thanks!
You WILL get flashed if you throw these bulbs in and don't readjust your headlights. I suggest marking your beam location on a wall or garage door, then after the switch, adjust the beams back down to where they were. It's very easy to do, but a lot of people don't do it and drive around blinding oncoming traffic.
Had them installed for 2 months and drive in the dark every day. I have never been flashed. I have not readjusted my point of aim. And the pattern is no higher then the stock halogens.

I agree. I've had them in since Christmas time. I've been flashed a total of 2 times. This includes a trip from the NY/Canada border to Florida and back.
Received Beamtech headlights and foglights yesterday, installed tonight. Not bad install, took a little longer than I thought but have never worked on this new truck. Lights look great but there is one HUGE problem. I cannot listen to the radio with the headlights on! Good amount of static cannot turn radio up. This is on all stations FM and AM. Turn the headlights off and static goes away. I ordered the headlights without the fan because someone posted the fans were loud. Well this sucks, I am really disappointed with the product causing static.
That's not going to cut it--not acceptable. Anyone else getting the static with the "non fan" lights?
I actually read his response yesterday and checked myself this morning. No static for me. Maybe during the install he might of wiggled other wires loose. Who knows
Here is an update on static from the non fan headlight LED. I am patient but I have to r & r again to get this done, I did the grill out, headlights out method. Also my DRL do not work now, I am assuming that their "decoder" is a resistor or filter and hopefully these will create enough drag to light in DRL mode. Beamtech customer service replied with this: Hi,
Some car's system is sensitive to the led headlight bulb(the power of the led headlight bulb is lower than the halogen ones). So there may will has some interference after replacing the led headlight.
We have report to our factory and they told us that the decoder can solve.we will send it to you from our CA warehouse, usually take 3-6 working days to receive.
pls be patient to wait.
regards.

No wiggling of wires loose, just unplugged and plugged their headlights in. Truck is bone stock zero mods or alterations, 4,000 miles on it.

It sucks that you're having this trouble. I'm the OP on this thread and a lot of guys have followed me into the Beamtech experiment so I hate to see it go bad for anyone.
Not that it does you any good, but I've had zero radio issues and I'm set up through FORScan with lower headlights and fog lights both on for DRL. Also with no issues.
Don't you love the broken English replies from some of these Amazon vendors? Hopefully their solution was free and will work for you.
I’ve had mine installed for 2-3 months. I haven’t noticed any static: but I’m usually listening to XM or Pandora, anyway. I’ve only been flashed a few time, I think from drivers who assume that 4 headlights means that the high beams are on. I’m sufficiently satisfied that I’m no longer considering the factory LEDs.
No static here. May have to do with the signal strength/distance to station.
Its on every station every channel AM/FM, definitely not a distance issue. My radio was crystal clear before the headlight install. Turn the headlights off and static goes away.

I also did all the changes thru Forscan before changing the bulbs and all worked perfect, 4 headlights on DRL, Bambi mode, etc. I figured this co. is Taiwan or China based just due to the packaging.
