Im rebuilding the axles right now in a heated garage. I'll send you a cash deposit of your choice with a shipping label. When I ship back you can keep a rental fee and send the rest of the deposit back.?

Got all new parts in and all painting done. I'll have a little touch up painting to do after the axles are fully installed (next week if weather allows?).
Put new ball joints in today. Make sure to get the 23 piece kit if you rent the tools. The 10 piece kit won't handle the lower Super Duty ball joints. Got 2* adjustable caster sleeves to replace the .4* non-adjustable sleeves that were on it. Shooting for 5*+ on first alignment.
I measured all the gaps and threads on all the tie rods before disassembly, but two of the new ends were shorter than the old parts, so those measurements are kind of useless now for anything other than ball park. Would need an overall length from old drag link assembly and tie rod assembly to get it precise. Alignment shop I am using is a mile from the house, so close will be fine in this case.
Here are some photos and info:
I like this paint so far...
Old upper ball joint sleeves...not adjustable.
New sleeves...
...adjustable to 8 positions. Arrow indicates max caster of additional 2* if pointed to the rear.
Ball joints...
...Installed
Final parts to be painted.
This is why counting threads is not very precise.
Another example...
And another...
Assembled. Close is good enough for the drive to the alignment shop.
Measuring gaps for set up.
Installed hub seals using the seal driver.
Both axles ready to go with hub seals and dust seals.
Moog heavy duty steering stabilizer.
So, all parts are in or on. Everything is painted as of today. I need to put the carrier back in the housing and install the bearing caps. Then it is all ready to go on the truck.
In case you're interested, to type the ° for degrees, hold Alt and type 0176 and release Alt. Love the build, I'm gonna have to come down to Bastrop to see it.

I can't get that trick to work for me. Keeps sending me back to the previous page...
You are welcome anytime if you want to see it in pieces now.
