Maybe it is starting on the East coast and heading this way... Naw, the internet knows no coasts... Some nice kitty pictures guys!

So some libber wants to cut the state into 3 parts (something we could only dream would come true) -- Wife says: how about we blow up the San Andres fault and just set them afloat?! I'm wondering if I set up a donation box for the powder to do it, if I'd have enough boxes...

ONLY if we can also add Seattle to that little pile of pollution.
Heck we can even give them a Governor and AG too.

The problem with splitting CA three ways from the way I understand it is you add 4 more senators, which may be the goal if you think of a current situation.

Foothills of CA are mostly conservative, SF Bay Area and SowCow are lib.
We have the water and they need it.
They want to let every one in and give them free everything, we don't and we don't want to pay for it.
They want to build a 100B and rising bullet train, we don't want to pay for that either (and nobody will use it anyway).
They want to eliminate guns, we want to keep ours.

I'm not seeing much downside here... Just on sales of water we should pay for all our needs. Plus we'll ad an: "out of state" tax for them to come use our recreation areas...

Yeah, yeah, dream on....

As long as the split adds two democratic and two republican Senate seats it’s neutral.

Nice place to live, until you get into the politics and taxes....

Changed the oil on the Jeep today, changing subjects as we must in this thread... You know a Ford FL1A will fit a Wrangler 4.0?! Well I didn't, but now I have a larger population of oil filters to look at...

We don’t need no stinkin rope, we gots a hose. And it’s a 100’ hose.

It would be interesting to see the trailer normally towed.

With "THAT" hitch is should be comical.

Anyone take a look at that video I posted in the counterfeit filter thread about China?
I am finding the channel enlightening to say the least. If you have not taken a look you might take at least one look.

I did Sean, and thanks for posting it. Their take was interesting about how the culture does not have the perspective of copyright or patent. Which brings up the Pandora's box of initiating trade with China, and to me allowing any Chinese entity ownership of any business outside of China. The story of Chevy vs Cherry as well as Microsoft was really telling. The want of low cost products just opens you up for the loss of your sole. If that truly is the mindset of China I don't see how you can protect your intellectual property without a higher Chinese Great Wall, preventing goods in and out.

It's too bad that the News or should I say Fake News outlets don't report on a story about this.
Not even the people over at Fox have picked up on this idea. The thing is it makes a lot of sense.
However proving it may be a bit of an issue. Someone would need to spend some time with a
modern China historian that has a good understanding on the cluture from the last hundred years or so.

I could see some of the titles and this one would be very pointed.

"The reason the Chinese steal ideas and copy others people patented things."
